34th Annual Fraternal Order of Eagles State Pool Tournament Championship
Tournament Schedule and Structure
All BCA Rules will be in effect, Accept the following amendments- Please review all BCA Rules at bottom.
-8 Ball
-Partners
-Double Elimination with a possible consulation bracket for teams 0-2 (Hosted at Sunbury Eagles club)
- Race to 5 games wins
- 1st set all shooters must be different. (Violation is a forfeit of match)
- 3 sets of 3 games = 1 Match
(Once 5 games are won by either team the match is over and the team reaching 5 game wins is declared the winner)
- Each team will hand in a game roster for each set previous to starting each set to opposing team captain. (1 minute set exchange)
No shooter may shoot twice in a set
-Shooters may shoot back to back from set to set. Note: Only 1 time per set.
-Any Fouls on players shooting more than once in a set will result in a loss of that game, and only that game the 2nd time the shooter in violation is scheduled to shoot in. Opposing team must call a foul to the other captain and referee before game is considered a forfeit by referee. Players that are in violation of this rule will be credited as a game played for both teams and count towards there 3 game maximum total per match. If team offending this rule shoots game and no foul is called before the winning ball is pocketed, then the game becomes official and team declared the winner by the pocketed ball is the official winner of that game.
-If any player shoots more than 3 times per match, offending team will be issued a forfeit of match. The opposing team must call the foul prior to the end of the match where the game/match winning ball is pocketed. A referee or tournament director must declare the offense as a forfeit.
-Teams may ask opposing captains to check their lineup set for each set at any time during match. Opposing team shall be required to show the submitted lineup.
-Coin Flip for Break at the begining of match (Team winning toss will have choice to break or defer to opposing team)
-Alternating Break - Team Breaking first will break Racks 1,3,5,7,9.
-Breaker will rack his own rack. Opposing team has the option to inspect rack. (BCA Rule)
-8 ball on Break is NOT a win (BCA Rule) Breaker has the option of his opponent spotting the 8ball and playing from there or a re-rack.
- All close shots, that may be a potential foul should be watched by a referee. If no referee is called to watch a shot, and shooters or captains cannot come to a decision on the shot. The shot ultimatley goes to the shooter.
- Teams will be required to be ready to play on scheduled times. (Plan to be 1/2 hour early, in case tables are open)
- A 15 minute grace period will be allowed the first round of play each day only if needed. (Be ready to play at scheduled time)
- Winning team of each match is required to bring official game card to tournament director table immediately following match.
- All game playing rules can be addressed by the Rules Officials (Referee's)
- Tournament Directors decisions are final.
- The Sunbury Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #503 ask that all players and teams bring all their Home Aerie values to our tournament. Any excessive violations will result in player or team ejections from all venue sites.
